E-Z-GO began back in 1954 when two brothers set to work building their first golf cart in a one-room machine shop in Augusta, Georgia. A major milestone for the company occurred in 1960 when E-Z-GO joined Textron Inc., a multi-industry company with a commitment to eco-friendly practices.  E-Z-GO now operates under the Textron Specialized Vehicle division, manufacturing tens of thousands of models each year.
